Today, as part of the Global Medical Response family of companies, REACH is larger in size, population and structure, and we have significantly greater resources. Our original definition of customer as “patient” has expanded to include a broad range of hospitals, as well as fire and EMS agencies. Among other things, these customers value attentiveness, timeliness, respect, courtesy, follow-up and a sense of partnership. Our crews have equally high standards and expectations including safety, professionalism, relationships, communication and job security.
REACH’s clinical continuing education process is robust. REACH’s Medical Directors and Clinical Leadership Team utilize a comprehensive quality management system to identify organizational and clinician specific training needs. Education and training are facilitated via traditional classroom didactic, self-guided study, hands on practical skills, online education programs, peer to peer mentoring, CQI program, patient case studies and other modalities. The REACH Clinical Leadership Team works together to develop complex patient case studies with advanced objectives for critical care and transport considerations.
